Fitness Base Panel
Fitness · Base
Fitness Base Panel
· 46 tests
Results within 2 working days
Blood count, liver, kidney, lipids, glucose and GGT in a single draw — an annual baseline for anyone training regularly.
See everything included
  • Complete blood count (CBC), 15 markers
  • Liver — AST, ALT, GGT
  • Kidney — BUN, creatinine, eGFR, uric acid
  • Lipids — total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides
  • Fasting blood glucose
  • Urinalysis and stool examination

These are the standard markers for checking that the organs carrying the load from training and supplements are still working normally. Read the MedlinePlus explainer

Add on: Cystatin C ฿2,000 — creatine raises creatinine; cystatin C measures kidney function independent of muscle.

Who It's For
Anyone training regularly who wants a baseline before starting a programme.
Fitness Base plus male hormones
Fitness · + Male hormones
Fitness Base + Hormones (Male)
· 50 tests
Results within 2 working days
Everything in the base panel, plus the male sex hormones and cortisol — for anyone training hard year-round who wants to know whether recovery is keeping up.
See everything included
  • Everything in the base panel (46 markers)
  • Total testosterone
  • Estradiol (E2)
  • SHBG — sex hormone binding globulin
  • Cortisol — accumulated stress

Total testosterone alone is hard to interpret, so it is measured alongside SHBG and estradiol to give a fuller picture. Read the MedlinePlus explainer

Who It's For
Men training hard year-round who want sex hormones and accumulated stress monitored.
Fitness Base plus female hormones
Fitness · + Female hormones
Fitness Base + Hormones (Female)
· 51 tests
Results within 2 working days
Everything in the base panel, plus the female sex hormones, cortisol and thyroid — which bear directly on energy and recovery.
See everything included
  • Everything in the base panel (46 markers)
  • Estradiol (E2)
  • Total testosterone
  • SHBG — sex hormone binding globulin
  • Cortisol — accumulated stress
  • TSH — thyroid stimulating hormone

Female sex hormones vary across the menstrual cycle, so tell our team where you are in yours — it is what lets the physician read the result correctly. Read the MedlinePlus explainer

Who It's For
Women training hard year-round who want sex hormones, thyroid and accumulated stress monitored.
Recovery and Nutrition Panel
Fitness · Recovery
Recovery & Nutrition Panel
· 6 tests
Results within 3 working days (because of the CK)
For anyone training hard who feels slow to recover. Iron stores, vitamins, minerals, inflammation and muscular load — designed to sit alongside the base panel.
See everything included
  • Ferritin — iron stores
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin D (total)
  • Magnesium
  • hs-CRP — low-grade inflammation
  • Creatine kinase (CK) — muscular load

Low ferritin can cause fatigue and slow recovery well before the red cell count looks abnormal, which is why it is worth checking when training stops progressing. Read the MedlinePlus explainer

Who It's For
Anyone training hard who feels slow to recover, or who wants nutritional status checked alongside inflammation.

About the hormone panel

The packages containing hormones are measurement for health monitoring, under a doctor's care. The clinic does not advise on performance-enhancing substances, hormone use, or dosing of any kind. Where a result is abnormal, a physician explains it and recommends appropriate care.

Before your appointment
  • No heavy training for 48–72 hours before the draw. Hard training temporarily raises CK and some liver values, which makes a normal result look abnormal.
  • Fast for 8–12 hours for any package containing glucose or lipids. Plain water is fine.
  • For any package containing hormones, come before 11:00 — testosterone and cortisol both vary across the day.

You can reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours' notice. Anything already paid is held as credit towards your next visit.Credit can be used against anything the clinic offers, but cannot be refunded as cash.

Why train hard and still get tested
Fit does not mean normal bloods
Performance in the gym tells you nothing about your liver, kidneys or lipids. Early abnormal values usually produce no symptoms at all.
Supplements go through the liver and kidneys
High protein intake, creatine, frequently used NSAIDs and pre-workout formulas all have to be cleared. Having a baseline is what makes a change visible early.
CK shows muscular load
Creatine kinase rises normally after heavy training, but a markedly high value is a sign of rhabdomyolysis, which needs attention straight away.
FAQ
Do I need to fast?

Fast for 8–12 hours so the lipid and glucose values are accurate; plain water is fine. For any package containing hormones, come before 11:00 — testosterone and cortisol both vary across the day.

Should I rest before the test?

Leave 48–72 hours after a very heavy session. Hard training temporarily raises CK and some liver values as a normal response, which can make a result look worse than it is. If you have trained heavily, tell our team so it is noted against your result.

What does a high CK mean?

CK is part of the Recovery & Nutrition panel. A modest rise after hard training is normal. A markedly high value alongside dark urine, severe muscle pain or weakness points to rhabdomyolysis and needs to be seen straight away. A physician interprets the value against your symptoms and training history.

Which package should I choose?

If you have never been tested, start with the base panel — liver, kidney, lipids and glucose are the values worth knowing first. Move to one of the hormone packages if you train hard year-round and feel your strength or recovery slipping. The Recovery & Nutrition panel is designed to sit alongside the base panel rather than replace it.

How often should I test?

It depends what you are tracking. Hormones and recovery markers move within weeks, so people training seriously often retest every 8–12 weeks to read a trend rather than a single number. We set no minimum interval and no limit.
